You display a transparent case with 4 pockets & 12 square cards with the 6 faces of a die - 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 & 6. One set of 6 has red faces, the other set of 6 has blue faces.

All 12 cards are shown freely. Your spectator chooses red or blue. Let's say they choose red. The 6 red color cards are placed in a row above the transparent case.

The remaining 6 blue color cards are placed on your table or in your hand.

You tell your audience that you are now going to make a prediction. You remove one of the blue faced cards as your prediction & place it face down, in the 2nd from left pocket of the transparent case.

An ordinary die is given to your spectator to roll. If he doesn't like the first number rolled, he can roll it as many times as he likes, finally deciding on a number. His chosen number is removed from the row of 6 red cards & placed face up in the 1st position in the clear case.

You now make a 2nd prediction, that card being placed face down in the 4th pocket. The same or another spectator rolls the die as above, finally deciding on his number. His chosen number is removed from the row of 6 red cards & placed face up in the 3rd position in the clear case.

You show two chips which are white with black centers on both sides.

You explain that if two colors are mixed, a new color is produced, like yellow & blue make green or red & yellow make orange. But what if two of the same color are mixed? Of course they would make the same color.

Imagine watching an entire vase of water vanish before your very eyes!

You display a small vase filled with water. You place a card over the mouth of the vase and invert the entire display.

Slowly, remove the card. Amazingly the water remains suspended in the inverted vase! Or has it disappeared?

Replace the card, turn the vase back over, and remove the card. Then you make the water REAPPEAR by pouring it from the same vase!

Invite a volunteer to help. After pouring water into the vase & placing the card over its mouth, you place everything on your volunter's head, asking him to press down on it. He doesn't want the water to come gushing out all over his head so he WILL hold it VERY TIGHT!
