We want you to be able to enjoy our online presentations. If you're having problems, hopefully some of the advice for player you choosed will help.
First things first: Make sure you have the correct player.

(Note: If you choose to purchase (or
already own) the Real One Plus Player, you'll be able to
download and view our movies at your leisure.) Common Problems #1) If the video appears to come through consistently, but runs slowly/choppy, try closing all other programs. The Real Player will happily use all system resources you can give it. #2) another solution to sluggish playback: your Real Player may not be correctly configured for your internet connection speed. To check your speed setup: While the player is open, Select Tools then> Preferences. When the dialog box appears, click on the Connection category, then set the bandwidth/connection speed so that it corresponds with your computer's 'configuration.' #3) Real Player movies might not play if you are behind a firewall. Ask your network administrator if there is a way around the firewall. (though, in most cases, there is no solution.) #4) Sound issues: Real Player's sound works in conjunction with the Wave Out controls of your sound card. Check your master volume control and make sure the volume is turned up and that nothing is muted. #5) Last, but
not least; make sure you're system is 'up to speed.' |
