ROUTINE:
Do you boys & girls know who the man in the moon is? Have you ever looked into the sky at night, & seen a face in the moon? Well, that is the MAN IN THE MOON!

You show the kids the “BEAUTIFUL STARRY NIGHT”. This, the SKY & STARS, is the MAN IN THE MOON’s house! There are 2 doorways: one on the audience’s left with the LARGE WHITE CLOUD is the “MOON’S CUPBOARD” with a “magic door”. On the audience’s right is the “MOON’S KITCHEN”.

Introduce “THE MAN IN THE MOON’s house. You open the kitchen & place him inside. 

“It has been said that if you can catch a leprechaun he will give you a pot of gold”. “Everybody knows that”. But do you know what happens if you catch the “MAN IN THE MOON”? He makes your wish come true!

The kids will YELL they see him! (But you don’t!) “Where where!” As he moves across you make him tilt from left to right using the puppet feature (as in HA HA you don’t see me).

“I THINK WE’VE GOT HIM” & have a child come up & point to where Mr. MOON is. You open the door & he’s vanished!

The kids now see Mr. MOON peeking out from the side of the KITCHEN – but YOU don’t see him!

The kids see MR. Moon traveling across – “YOU'LL NEVER CATCH ME!”. The kids are SCREAMING!

Then he starts popping up & down from the other door! Your audience becomes WILD with EXCITEMENT!

You CONTROL Mr. Moon & you make him move how and where YOU WANT! Popping Mr. Moon over the door or peaking his head out the side, the more you do it the more the children will SHOUT, SCREAM & LAUGH!

You finally catch him. Select and audience member or the birthday boy or girl, have them hold Mr. Moon in their hands very tight, close their eyes & make a wish!

What’s WONDERFUL about this trick is you can make YOUR routine as short or as long as like. You could end it here, or make him reappear back in the house – with Mr. MOON POPPING OUT THE SIDE – running back & forth – and then you can make Mr. MOON VANISH AGAIN!

You reproduce him from your pocket or to get your kids even MORE EXCITED – you can extend your presentation – you or your volunteer turns around & he is hooked to your or your assistant’s back. LOTS MORE SCREAMING with the kids telling you THEY SEE HIM! You finally notice him - take a bow - for this wonderful trick will bring you rounds of excitement & applause!

The vanish is really startling. Easy to do. Perfect for living room or stage.

An item is placed in a flat bag, which is then ‘torn open flat’. The item placed in the bag “flies out”, and is seen to have changed into an entirely different item. There is nothing to destroy, the velcro seams allow you to form and rip the bag as often as you like.

No jacket or long sleeves necessary. VERY EASY TO LEARN!

You place several white hankerchiefs in the bag and a full box of crayons.

You pull open the bag. The colors have VANISHED from the crayons - they are now all white! AND the white hankerchiefs have become colored handkerchiefs.

Kids go wild for this fun routine. Combine this with our MAGIC COLORING BOOK trick found on this page. At the same time the colors vanish from the crayons and appear on the handkerchiefs - your coloring book magically colors itself!
