Our multiplying rabbits trick is one of the greatest close-up effects of all time.
These rabbits actually "multiply in the spectator's hand," one after the other. When Robert Nelson created this he didn't know what a sensation his sponge rabbits routine would be!
You display two sponge rabbits, Mama and Papa Rabbit. You place one in your hand and one in the hand of a spectator. Abracadabra! You open your hand to show that your rabbit has VANISHED!
Spectator opens his/her hand to find BOTH Mama and Papa Rabbits!
That's not ALL!
You place the two large rabbits in the spectator's hands. And true to their nature, when the spectator opens their hand, the rabbits are seen to have reproduced. FIVE cute "baby" rabbits are now in the spectator's hands. A truly funny, surprising trick, and a great variation on the old rabbit-from-a-hat routine.
