What does shipping/handling cover?

Unlike most stores where we as customers push our cart and pick our own orders, we are providing this for you. This cost covers order entry, picking of your order, checker who verifies items are picked correctly, packer, then pack checker who verifies items are packed safely, packaging and shipping cost. This charge is much less than our cost. While labor and shipping has risen 120% over the last 10 years, we have only increased our charge by $1 twice during the same period and absorbed the balance of increases ourselves.
How long will it
take you to ship my order and for me to receive it? (top)
WE SHIP FAST!
Orders paid by charge card or MONEY ORDERS ARE SHIPPED within 48
hours of receipt. (This means 2 business days). This applies to
products in stock.
Money orders are available from post offices, banks, convenience
stores. Make payable to Abracadabra Magic.
INTERNATIONAL MONEY ORDERS MUST BE IN US
DOLLARS, and list a US BANK or they will be returned.
Orders shipped by 1st class or Priority Mail are usually received
2-4 days from date of shipment.
Orders shipped via FedEx Ground generally arrive within 1-5 days of shipment.
USPS Media rate (used for orders
of mostly books, tapes, paper and card tricks): 2 to 14 days.
FedEx Express upgrades: 2nd day
service: 2 business days. Next day service is costly but is available.
You must call us with your order, and after determining the weight
we can quote the extra cost.
What is the fastest
way for me to receive my order and how much extra does it cost?(top)
FedEx 2nd day service is available for most states. We receive and offer great
discounts off FedEx's usual rates. This incurs an extra charge
in addition to the regular shipping/handling fee. It's available
for as little as $12.88 to commercial addresses and $14.88 to residential
addresses additional over regular shipping charges (cost is determined
by size, weight, geographical location and whether the address is
residential or commercial)! If you are paying by check, hold mailing
your check until you receive the additional charges from us by email.
We'll respond within one business day.
As most orders that are not
predominantly books, videos, paper or card tricks are shipped 1st
class or PRIORITY MAIL at no extra cost
and only take 2-4 days to be received from date of shipment, it
usually is not necessary to upgrade
to FedEx. Note that 1st class & PRIORITY
MAIL delivery days are NOT guaranteed, while FedEx IS GUARANTEED
to most areas of the US.
How do I pay by check or money order? (top)
After you place your order, select checkout.
At one point, you will be shown a page with 4 payment options: MasterCard,
Visa, Discover and check/money order.
You will choose check/money order as form of payment. You will then
submit an order and receive an invoice. Print out the invoice and send it with your check. US CUSTOMERS - IF UPGRADING YOUR ORDER TO FedEx OR ORDER G# PRODUCT CODES (SUCH AS FLASH ITEMS) wait for our email with the FedEx surcharge amount added.

Is it safe to send you my credit card number? (top)
YES. All credit card information is encrypted
& transmitted through our secure server, so that it cannot be
read as the information travels to us. In the unlikely event of
unauthorized use of your credit card, most banks either cover all
charges that result from unauthorized use or may limit your liability
to just $50.
Can I place my order by phone, fax or email? (top)
If you prefer, you may order by phone 8:30AM to 6:00 PM Eastern Standard Time, Monday through
Friday: 732-805-0200 or by fax 24 hours: 732-805-0604.
For email/fax orders: If you are concerned about security, send the credit card number
in two separate emails or faxes (first email or fax contains the
first two sets of numbers, the second email or fax contains the
second two sets of numbers plus expiration date, and the credit
card bank's billing info for us to match: Name & address
if different from shipping and telephone
number on file with your bank). Also include your DAYTIME
PHONE NUMBER in case we need to call you about your
order.
How do I place my first order & create an account? (top)
Placing an order with ABRACADABRA is easy. There's no need to create an account first.
You can shop first and add items to your cart. When you are ready
to checkout, you will be prompted to create an account or order
without an account.
What is the smallest order I may place? (top)
Our minimum order is only $25.00 worth of merchandise before adding shipping/handling
charges. We haven't raised the minimum in over 15 years!

How do I know what your price is in my country's currency? (top)
Use our free Currency Converter found on the bottom of every page or CLICK

Do you ship to my country? (top)
We ship all over the world! If you see your country listed when you are completing
our shipping address form, then we ship to you! When we receive
high volumes of fraud from specific countries, these countries are
removed from the list. In this case, please email us to place your
order. We would require US DOLLAR money orders only for these countries.
How long does it take to receive my order? (top)
From date of our shipment, USPS takes from 4 to 10 days, and FedEx from 2
to 7 days, according to your distance from the US. We can't guarantee
the delivery time, these estimates are provided by the carrier.
Your customs may delay delivery by several days.
Do you stock PAL video tape formats? (top)
Unfortunately, we don't. If you are
ordering a video tape, we only stock VHS format, however some tapes are
available in PAL format and can be special ordered (this will delay
shipment of your order from 10 to 30 days for us to obtain the PAL
version). If you require PAL only, when placing your order, type
"REQUIRE PAL TAPES" in the special instructions
box on the shipping page that will appear as part of the checkout
process. Some publishers have a higher price for PAL format. We
will email you with the estimated wait time and if the price is
different.

We have tricks for magicians of all skill levels! If you are a
beginner, select magic tricks from the "BEGINNERS
category". If the magic tricks are for a child select
your magic tricks from the "TRICKS BY AGE category",
selecting based upon your age range. These age
ranges not only have to do with ability based upon age, but
upon hand size and how much patience a child would have to
learn a lengthy routine. So PLEASE stay within the
age ranges recommended. Our President, who has been performing magic
for over 45 years, has accurately selected the tricks within these
ranges.
We have sold thousands of each of our magic tricks over the 40
years we have been selling magic tricks, and our customers
have successfully fooled
and entertained their friends with our great tricks. Unlike
some of our competitors, all our magic tricks come with easy to
understand instructions. If a trick has very basic instructions,
we have recommended a book and/or a video, underneath the main trick's
description, that you may consider purchasing to give you more
detail and allow you to perform MANY ADDITIONAL TRICKS with
this same trick! In addition, when we think it necessary, we include
BONUS INSTRUCTIONS explaining the method more clearly and

How do I find specific
items? (top)
Our keyword search box is found at the top left, above our category buttons,
and is located on every page of our store. When you find
an item that interests you, click the picture or name of the item
to see its product detail page.
For best search results, use fewer words, rather than more. For example, if you are
looking for the Rising Card deck,
do NOT type the full name. Instead try just "rising". If you receive too many
results, then try "rising card". We might have several rising or rising
card tricks, but the word deck might not be used in our name!
Is there anyone to help me after I buy from you? (top)

What is your return policy? (top)
Abracadabra Magic stands behind all defective merchandise 100%! We will even exchange
for the same item promptly and reimburse for your return shipping. Just advise us
within one week from date of receipt.
Once you receive your order, however, we have revealed and you have learned secrets.
Therefore, our products are not returnable. This is the same policy that most software suppliers
have - and almost all magic trick suppliers follow this policy.
Except for revealing the secret, if you have a question about any trick you wish to purchase, please
contact us before purchase and we will be most happy to help. Examples
of some good questions, which would be relevant to your needs:
1. Can I do it close up? (ALL tricks that use SMALL objects can be
performed close up).
2. Is it, or does it work, the same as (name of trick you already have)
3. Is it suitable to perform for children?
4. Do I need to wear a jacket?
