Here is my favorite routine:

Riffle the cards asking a spectator to say STOP whenever they want. YES - they can really stop you wherever they like. They take the card from wherever they stopped you.

Tell them not to show it to you, remember it and place it back in the deck. You tell them you are going to make their selected card vanish!

You riffle thru the ENTIRE DECK - and their card has VANISHED!

Remember, they have never even told you the name of their card!

You reach into your front pocket and pull out their card! Wait...you are not done yet. Hand the card to the spectator and tell them to rip it up into 4 pieces. Display a small card box. Take the pieces and have them place into the card box. You close the cover & wave your hand over the box

The spectator opens the box to discover their selected card sitting there inside, competely restored! Everything is examinable.
